It’s been well documented in the ‘Harry Potter’ series that Herbology is a popular class that can be studied as an O.W.L exam in a wizarding school, and taken again for the N.E.W.T exams if students pass it in their O.W.L.s.
Neville Longbottom may be top of the class, but how much do you know about the magical and mundane plants mentioned?

A Wizard’s Guide to Herbology

Our first big event of the year!! We’ll be starting at the Pav in college at 8pm, followed by O’Neills, Mac Turcaills, and ending up (hopefully!) in Doyles. The Environment Society and Joly Society will also be out on the pub crawl.

This will be a great night to meet everyone in the society, have a great night, and maybe pick up a fun fact or two along the way. Hope to see you there!

We will be running our stand all week in Front Square, come say hello!

As part of Fresher’s Week, as well as welcoming new and returning members, we will be running a Botany Treasure Hunt on Friday (September 24th) throughout Trinity College campus. The Treasure Hunt is open to any members of the society, teams will consist of 2 people, and the prize is 4 tickets to Trinity Ents Official Welcome Back Party in Pod on September 27th.

Best of luck to everyone who enters!
